Frequently asked questions

Lattice mode works best when tables have visible grid lines/borders; stream mode works best for tables without visible borders, using text spacing to infer columns instead. Try stream first — switch to lattice if the results look wrong.

You'll get an error saying no tables were found — this tool is built specifically for tabular data, not general page layout.

By default, every page ("1-end") — enter a specific range or comma-separated list (e.g. "1-3" or "1,4,7") to limit it to certain pages.
